Great start to Sheen's Anger Management

Charlie Sheen's new FX comedy "Anger Management" debuted to huge numbers last night, scoring the biggest scripted comedy debut in cable history.

5.47 million total viewers, with 2.65 million of those in the coveted adults 18-49 demographic.
The number shot up as the viewer count grew as the hour went on, with an audience of 5.74 million viewers tuning in for "Anger's" second half.

When the show was announced on FX, people were willing to give his new project a chance. Given FX's great comedy track record (Always Sunny, The League, etc), Anger Management is a great laugh-inducing sitcom fare, with Sheen now taking over both Two and a Half Men adult roles.
To some people disappointment Charlie Sheen in a format that makes Charlie Sheen fans comfortable.
It's Charlie Sheen in every scene. It's Charlie Sheen at work. At a bar. In his daughter's room. At his ex-wife's house. Followed by a  giant supporting cast of characters.

The jokes hit at good times, with most of the enormous cast acting mostly as crude stereotypes (the 'Nam vet, the gay dude, etc) and obviously co-existing with the punch line deliveries.

If you're a fan of Sheen and his witty humor, then this is a thriller.
