Dana White Ear Surgery

Dana White's battle with Meniere’s diseas

Although his doctors have told him surgery should be a sort of last resort to treat his Meniere's disease, UFC president Dana White is pushing hard for the surgery that could put him out of work for a month.
White cited his busy work schedule that spans continents as a reason why he is pushing hard for the operation that can help control the inner ear disease.
"In the surgery, they basically go in (the ear) and cut the (affected) nerve, so you have to learn to walk again and go through serious rehabilitation to learn how to do everything again. But I'm willing to have that done and do hardcore rehab for the next three weeks, and that's my plan. That's what I plan to do, but the doctor has other plans so it's going to be a battle of wills," ended White with a smile.
